I’m posting at the Lift List Club today talking about change, goals and the way life can dump bucket loads of, well, life on us. The question is: do we get buried in disaster or swamped with opportunity? Continue reading “Buried in Disaster or Swamped with Opportunity?”
Jess Witkins is over at the Life List Club talking about summer fun…
It’s a holiday week, so that means it’s time to break away from the rules, bend the structure, and wear that naughty underwear no one knows you’re wearing but you! ;)I’ve been thinking about my to do list a lot lately. With Fast Draft over I couldn’t wait to have some peace and quiet for a few days, but now I feel like I’m moving too slow. I went from hyper drive surviving off of cheese and crackers and caffeine, and now I feel like my goals are moving slowly but summer is flying by!
You know how when summer begins, and you have all these great plans about trips to the beach, lazing away in a hammock, vacations to tropical places, cookouts full of junk food, and a margarita in each hand!

What about you? Whats on your summer fun list?
Sherry Isaac is over at the Life List Club talking about what happens when we miss our goals. Head on over and check it out!
1999. The year the artist formerly known as Prince asked that we party like.
That summer, chauffeur to soccer games, school dances and babysitting jobs, a familiar beat reverberated in this mother’s minivan. ‘Steal My Sunshine’, a one-hit wonder released by Toronto-based band, Len.

Gary Gauthier is at the Life List Club today talking about creativity…
All you need for an excellent exercise that stimulates a young child’s imagination is a blank sheet of paper and a few crayons of different colors. A creative spirit and busy little hands will do the rest. It’s not so easy for us adults! While creativity can be as easy as child’s play, for an artist or a craftsman, creativity can mean painstaking work.

I’m over at the Life List Club blog talking about wasting time and whether (or not) it’s possible to waste time well. Come on over and join the conversation.
Put on your party hats, it’s time for another Life List Club Milestone Party!
Our old friend Larry the bartender is here again.
He’s always here. It’s almost sad really. The guy’s workaholic. But at least he enjoys his job. And this time he’s offered to be the chef too. Continue reading “The Milestones are Partying Again”
Welcome to another Life List Club Friday. Today, I’m at Jenny Hansen’s, fessing up to my
not so secret love of tacos. And, over here, we have the super-funny and always-cool Jess Witkins with us, talking about dreams and fear and cute little zombie kittnens. Take it away Jess…
Are You The Main Character of Your Life?
Do you ever start to dream about the things you’re doing, watching, or reading? I didn’t use to. But lately my dreams have taken on a very suspense/horror feeling about them. I think I need to stop reading Dan Brown books and watching zombie/vampire/witch shows before bed (but I so love Walking Dead and Vampire Diaries!) Continue reading “Are You the Main Character of Your Life? by Jess Witkins”
Thank you, Sonia, for being a gracious hostess. In keeping with your Fear Friday theme, I offer your readers a post about fear.
Fear will stop us in our tracks, no matter what we were planning to do. Fear can show up disguised as uncertainty or procrastination. Continue reading “Fear Not by Marcia Richards”
Itty Bitty Baby Steps
Sail around the world. Climb Mt Everest. Lose 30 (or 40 or 50 or 100) lbs. Eat a 10lb burrito slathered in ghost pepper hot sauce. Write a novel.
All huge undertakings.
Okay…maybe writing a novel isn’t quite the same feat as the others…but it sure feels like it sometimes. Sometimes it feels bigger than that because we have to invent something that’s never existed before, our story.
Any big task or change can feel like trying to climb a mountain. We might stand at the base, look up at the vast distance between where we are and where we need to be, and just freak out.
But…maybe, just maybe, there’s a better way. Continue reading “Itty Bitty Baby Steps”
Welcome to another Life List Club Friday. Today’s our Milestone Party and you’re all invited. So come on in.
Don’t mind Larry. He’s already had one too many. Continue reading “It’s a (Milestone) Party!!!”
